Pre-Launch Checklist - VOD Rentals
Before launching your VOD Rentals, make sure you've checked these items off your list.
- The Rentals settings have been configured.
- You've reviewed the Rentals Details on each Show you're making available to rent.
- You've created individual Rental Pass Offers for the Shows you'd like to sell individually, and multi-item Rental Pass Offers for selling a group of rental for one price. See Creating Rental Pass Offers.
- You've made a page on your site that lists all your available rentals, or added a section to your home page that lists them.
- You've customized the date and time format on your site so that it's easy for your audience to read and understand the availability windows.
- You've visited the checkout page for your rental passes and ensured the content is as desired.
- You've purchased a rental pass (or issued yourself a comp rental pass), and confirmed the language in the email is correct (you can refund the rental pass afterwards), and there are no broken links. You can adjust the language in the email by visiting Settings > Rentals or editing the specific language on the Rental Pass Offer.
- You've tested each VOD rental on the front of your site, clicked play, and ensured that the playlist and Video Assets are correct.
