Overview - Getting Started

Welcome to Filmbot for Festivals!

In these pages, you'll learn how to enter your film & event content, customize your website design, manage sales, host your online showtimes, and offer VOD Rentals.

To get you started, here are general steps we recommend:

1. Head over to the Customizer, add your site logo and icon, and choose your colors and fonts.
2. Navigate through Settings > Festival Setup and Settings > Website and ensure all your settings are as you want them.
3. Enter your Festival Content, either by using our Google Sheets import option (if you have a lot of movies and showtimes), or by entering them manually.
4. Build your home page using sections provided by the Flexible Content template
5. Set up any Online Showtimes or VOD Rentals you'll be offering.
6. Build your Menus under Appearance > Menus
7. Be sure to Connect your Stripe Account before you start accepting credit cards on your site.
8. Before launching, make sure you review all the relevant Pre-Launch Checklists we provide.
