Creating Ticket Type Groups Manually
Ticket type groups make it faster and easier to set up your showtimes and start selling tickets.
Most showtimes will have the same set of ticket types available on them, for example: Senior, Student, Adult, and Military. Instead of manually adding all 4 of those ticket types to every showtime, you can create one ticket type group that contains all those ticket types, and then add that group to the showtime.
You can even set a "default" ticket type group under Settings Festival Setup, and that ticket type group will automatically get added whenever you add a showtime to the Scheduler, for even faster setup.
It's required that you set up ticket types in groups in order to use the Google Sheets import tool.
Here's how to create a Ticket Type Group:
- From the Dashboard, navigate to Scheduler > Ticket Type Groups
- On the left side of the screen, fill out the name of the Ticket Type Group (ex. "Standard")
- Leave all other fields blank
- Click Add New Ticket Type Group
- Create your ticket types, and on each one, select the ticket type group to which it should belong
