Accepting Donations

Enable customers who buy tickets online to add a donation to their order. This feature is only available for ticket purchases, not rentals.

Go to Settings > Website > Checkout > Scroll down to Donations:

Enable donations in checkout: Check this box to enable accepting donations at web checkout.

Donation amount: Set the default donation amount (i.e. 5) that the customer can choose to add to their order. Please note that you cannot add multiple amount options (i.e. $5, $10, $15) or a freeform field for this donations feature. There should be no dollar sign inside the field.

Text display on checkout: Enter the text that will display alongside the donation checkbox, i.e. "Yes, I'd like to make a $5 donation to support this film festival!"

Reporting: To access the Donations report, which lists all donations submitted over a date range, go to Sales > Reports > Donations > Select Type: Donations > Select Date Range.
